Cutting and Chopping
I can not emphasize enough how important it is to have good, sharp, well conditioned knives.
I used to sharpen my knives, by hand, on wet stones. It was a major pain in the butt. I since, purchase a few knife sharpeners, but this one BY FAR is the easiest and leaves me with a RAZORS EDGE on my knives in about 60 seconds.
This is the Chef’s Choice 15 XV Trizor Professional Electric Knife Sharpener. I can’t recommend it enough!
Any of the Victorinox Fibrox Pro knives are stellar choices.
I have this 8″ Chef’s knife that I use for damn near everything, it is fantastic! Watch your fingers… it’s sharp!
